The Great MND Relay
Hi friends and family

I’m planning on going on the infamous Larapinta hike. The Larapinta hike is a 270km, 18-day hike. This is a personal challenge that I’ve set myself for this year and want to raise funds for a good cause and have chosen MND.

I am also taking part in The Great MND Relay and my pledge time is: Saturday 25th June at 1am

For those who don't know MND or ALS is a horribly slow disease that destroys one's cognitive ability and slowly destroys one's muscles and nerves. Every day 2 Australians are diagnosed with MND and there is currently no cure.

I've also picked to Fundraise for MND Victoria because my dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year and the effects of this horrible disease really strike home. It is devastating watching someone who has taught and instilled so much into you struggle with basic day to day tasks. My old man is an absolute inspiration to me and has taught me what it is to be a man, to respect, to have a good work ethic, to be kind, to seek knowledge out and challenge myself.

Any donations will mean the world and will go a long way into finding a cure this disease.
