Anne Malloch is my friend, as she is to many others. A courageous, intelligent, kind, generous and fabulous, absolutely fabulous woman. I am confident many of you can attest.

I am so lucky to have met this fashionable and sassy human being when I started working at the City of Melbourne. She offered me opportunities, coached me, welcomed me into her home and shared her family with me (her dad and her furball Rocket). She (alongside others) was there for me when I needed support, even if it was just to sit there and hear me out, at the oddest of hours, without a whimper.

Today, Anne continues to teach me things, inspire and make me laugh. Many years later since I walked into Council House, she is the same intelligent, elegant woman I first met.

I cannot return all the favours she has done for me, but I can do this.

I am participating in the great MND relay to help raise funds for MND Victoria who provides care and support to those impacted by motor neurone disease. We will work together to ensure there is always someone walking on the track and achieve a 41 hour continuous relay.
