Kimberly Jayne is fundraising for
Laps for Mum & Rohan 💙 Running for my Mum, who was diagnosed with Bulbar MND in January 2024 and died in November 2025, and my former partner Rohan, who died in 2021. Mum lived with me for part of her journey with MND, so we experienced first hand how important the right support is. MND Victoria supported us through both experiences and I’m forever grateful for the role they play. Their loan library provided essential equipment and assistive technologies when we needed them, and their MND Advisors helped us navigate the two worlds of the NDIS (Rohan) and My Aged Care (Mum). The Carer Support Program has also been an incredible addition to MND Victoria. Through the carer groups I’ve met generous and knowledgeable people in the MND community and made some beautiful friends. This year I’ll be in the fast wave, running laps of the track for two hours straight. Let’s see how many laps I can clock up. If you’d like to donate, I can guarantee this funding goes to practical care and support for people living with MND. I’ve relied on it twice, so I know exactly where it goes.
