My pledge time is: Saturday 25th June | 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Earlier this year I lost a friend to MND. The pain he, his husband, his mother, his children and everyone around him went through was devastating. MND would have to be one of the cruellest diseases which robs people of their lives. This disease has no cure and can affect any one of us. No matter how old or how fit you are, this disease does not discriminate. Most (if not all) people who are diagnosed with this incurable and cruel disease will need the support of MND Victoria, which I have seen first hand. I intend to help, not only by raising funds but helping raise awareness about MND. I hope to see thousands of people come together to be part of The Great MND Relay, whether it’s creating teams and raising much needed funds, or coming down to the athletics track, cheering on the participants, and donating. Personally, I can’t wait to be involved and bring home the baton.

MND Victoria helped Greg and his husband with connecting them with services and equipment to make the journey a little easier as well as making the NDIS process clear and as smooth as possible.
Losing Greg taught me, and everyone who knew him, that MND can happen to any one of us. I've seen first hand the assistance and support MND Victoria gives to people living with MND, which is why I am joining them as their ambassador and champion of The Great MND Relay.
