As you all would know, I was diagnosed with bulbar onset MND in September 2021. It’s a very aggressive type and my health has deteriorated significantly since then. I can no longer speak or even carry my son Oliver. Daily life is becoming very difficult.

Sadly a cure won’t be found in my lifetime despite the increasing awareness and funding being contributed to the cause.

MND Victoria’s motto is ‘Until there’s a cure, there’s care’. They are an amazing not for profit organization who support me and my family immensely, with support workers, equipment, NDIS navigation and planning, networking and support sessions, and general moral support. All free of charge.

I’m taking part in The Great MND Relay in support of the 470 Victorians currently living with MND. All funds raised will ensure MND Victoria can continue providing vital care, support, education and equipment so no one has to face this devastating disease alone.
My scheduled hour of walking in the relay is 9am on Saturday 25th June. Come along and join me and my family or please support with a donation if you prefer!
